Nick King started the business as KINGSUN Solar and Plumbing when solar was booming because of tax credits in 1982.  After seminary (1985-1989) Nick returned to Wichita to pastor part time and service the many systems that had been installed by various solar companies that were no longer in business.  That is to say that we have worked on virtually all the types of systems in the Central Kansas area, so we can competently repair yours as well.  After seeing the systems and what works and what doesn’t, we can customize a new system that works well for you.  From 2002- 2007 Nick was in Mexico doing administration of community development projects, so his brother, Ken King, took over the business to service the solar needs of the area.  Since 2007, Nick has returned to his commitment to service and install renewable energy, as well as to provide quality plumbing in Wichita and Central KS.  He now resides in Hillsboro with his wife, Ronda, and two teenage sons, Jonathan and Justin.
